Meet some of the Team!

Dr Jenny and Dr Johanna worked as volunteer paediatricians at Jinja Children’s Hospital in Uganda in 2015 and experienced first hand the challenges of delivering healthcare without sufficient resources. At the same time, they could not help but feel inspired by their colleagues and humbled by the patients and their families.

They were sad to leave Jinja and wanted to continue working with their new colleagues, and stay involved in the hospital and community. So back in the UK they registered JPIP as a UK charity.

JPIP funds projects that directly impact patients, supported locally by brilliant hospital staff like Dr Sophie, Dr Harriet and Sister Maburuka.

JPIP also partners with other local and international non-profit organisations to deliver medical equipment and supplies essential for treating sick children.
